Description

Evaluation of the spherical indentations formed by the Brinell hardness test requires a microscope with a working distance of 6 mm and a graduation of 0.05 mm. The Peak-Lupe 2010 Brinell hardness measuring microscope offers precisely these features. The instrument can be focused by loosening a knurled locking ring. The upper objective can then be moved up or down to the focal point. The locking ring is then tightened. The scale can be focused separately on the eyepiece. The 2010 is constructed entirely of steel. The high-quality lenses in the eyepieces and objective lens guarantee a distortion-free image. If desired, the 2010 is also available with an inch graduation of 0.002″. This microscope also has an additional white scale with a 1 mm graduation (length 6 mm), which can be inserted into the base of the microscope.
