The original Peak Lupe Thread Counter from the WZ3 series, equipped with a glass scale from the 1975 measuring magnifier and designed for right-handed users.

What is special about the new Peak Lupe type 3408-WZ3-S is that we offer it with two serial numbers: one for right-handed users (here 3408-WZ3-SR) and one for left-handed users (see 3408-WZ3- SL).

You know the problem: a thread counter is held on the side, and the scale can no longer be seen horizontally. To solve this, the scale on type 3408-WZ3-S is mounted perpendicular to the back and rotated 180° for left-handed users. In this way, the thread counter can be held firmly and the scale can be used immediately for measurement, without having to laboriously rotate and slide the line tester. However, users who need to compensate for a visual impairment should use the Peak Lupe measuring loupes 1975 or 1983, as these are equipped with focusing.

The 3408-WZ3-S thread counter has an aplanatic optical system that allows distortion-free visualization all the way to the edge. A high depth of field and high-contrast visualization are achieved with this optical system. The black surface of the zinc metal frame prevents disturbing reflections.
