About Thread Counters
Thread counters are used as small folding magnifying glasses, originally designed to inspect fabrics, hence the name, but are widely used as portable loupes. Thread counters can all be folded flat, making them ideal for carrying in a pocket, and feature a scale on the base for hands-free use. Available with a metal or plastic frame, a visible area ranging from 10 x 10 mm to 52 x 52 mm, and magnification from 3x to 9x.
