The CV-1008-XS USB 2.0 camera is packed with smart features and offers a higher resolution than HD. Its ultra-compact housing features a modern 1/3″ CMOS sensor from Sony with an integrated autofocus lens and a DSP slot. This slot provides a wide range of functions.

In the field of measurement and inspection technology, these extremely small yet excellent USB cameras are used in combination with measuring magnifiers, microscopes, and pen microscopes. In cases where digital photo cameras were previously used on mobile microscopes, for example from the Peak Lupe series, the use, transport, and storage of images have been simplified. The representation of scales in the eyepiece is as clear and sharp as the actual image.
Due to the integrated lens in the USB camera, no eyepiece adapter is required when used on stereomicroscopes. This avoids both the time loss caused by removing the eyepiece and the risk of contaminating the tube and lenses.
The delivery of the USB camera includes the original driver (in English), which is suitable for displaying and saving images, as well as an adapter for Peak Lupe microscopes. Alternatively, you can choose the Metric BE software, which offers convenient operation and 24 different languages. If measurement functions within the software are required, choose either Kitec ECO or Kitec PRO.
There is an extensive range of adapters, and in some cases, the different diameters of microscopes and magnifiers are combined using intermediate adapters.
The compact camera and the special LED ring installed in the adapter also make it possible to use the system as an endoscope.
