Featuring IGM technology (Infrared Guided Measurement) with a built-in FLIR Lepton® 80 x 60 thermal imaging sensor, the 54-MR160 moisture meter visually indicates the exact location of hidden moisture. Where moisture is present, cooling is detected due to the so-called heat of vaporization. These areas appear bluish (colder) than the surrounding environment. Additionally, use the integrated laser pointer and crosshair to map the surface of the issue detected by IGM (the built-in thermal camera). The 54-MR160 is equipped with an integrated pinless sensor and an external pin probe for measuring moisture in materials, providing the flexibility to perform either destructive or non-destructive moisture measurements. The 54-MR160 is also a perfect complement to a high-resolution thermal camera that you may already own.
