Loupe for Film, Microfilm and X-ray Film, Peak Lupe 2026-15. Magnification 15x

The Peak Lupe model 2026-15 is a 15x wide-angle viewer designed for inserting film or microfilm. This loupe has been redesigned to achieve focused observation of a field of view with a diameter of 19 mm at 15x magnification, with field curvature and lateral chromatic aberration perfectly corrected by a combination of four lenses. Two of the lenses are made from a completely new type of optical glass. Additionally, all lenses feature multiple coatings to prevent internal reflections.

This makes the Peak Lupe handheld loupe suitable for viewing microfilm and X-ray films, as well as standard films. A smart design feature prevents damage to the film when inserting it, and the combination of clear glass and a transparent window allows the film to be viewed without special additional lighting.
