The ThermaData Lite data logger is a cost-effective, standalone temperature data logger or blind recording thermometer designed to record ambient temperature. The ThermaData Lite logger is housed in a waterproof polyethylene casing and features two LED status indicators.

The ThermaData Studio software allows the user to program the logging sample/interval rate (6 seconds to 255 minutes), real-time clock, °C/°F, delayed start (up to 23 hours, 59 minutes), button press start, temperature start, or time start, and a 31-character user ID. The software also includes a password-protected calibration adjustment function that enables the user to verify the logger’s calibration and make minor adjustments of 0.1 °C (±3 °C).

Users can also set high and low alarm limits for a specific application within the software. A single button press allows for a simple visual inspection of the device to indicate if any of these limits have been exceeded. A flashing red LED will warn the user that the alarm limits have been exceeded (reject), while a flashing green LED will notify the user that the alarm limits have not been exceeded (accept).

Color-coded data loggers

Available in a variety of colored casings: blue, yellow, white, and black. These color-coded housings help prevent cross-contamination by allowing the user to assign a specific color to a particular product or application. Other applications include using differently colored loggers for easy identification in industries such as construction, where loggers can often blend into the environment.
