Description
The digital thermometer’s large display shows exact temperature measurements with a resolution of 0.1 °C. It has a wide temperature range of -49.9 to 299.9 °C.
Indications for both low battery level (icon) and open circuit are displayed when applicable. Each Thermapen is powered by two lithium coin batteries, with an expected lifespan of at least 1500 hours. The food thermometer switches off automatically after ten minutes, which maximizes battery life.
The Thermapen Classic is fully configurable using switches in the battery compartment. Here you can disable the automatic shutdown mode, switch between °C and °F, or choose between a resolution of 1° and 0.1°. Folding probe
Folding meat thermometers are ideal for protecting your probe from damage while making it easy to transport and keep at hand throughout the day. The Thermapen Classic has a reduced tip, penetrating stainless steel probe (Ø3.3 x 110 mm) that rotates 180° and folds into the side of the instrument for safe storage.
