RayTemp 2 infrared thermometer – Designed and manufactured here in the UK. Simply aim the thermometer at the target and press the measure button to display the surface temperature within the range of -49.9 to 349.9 °C with a resolution of 0.1 °C or 1 °C and assured accuracy of ±1 °C within the range of 0 to 100 °C.
The RayTemp 2 has a 5:1 optical ratio (distance-to-spot ratio) and a fixed emissivity of 0.95, making it suitable for a wide spectrum of food and industrial applications. The unit does not include laser aiming, but this will appeal to those who are health and safety conscious and do not require this feature.
The RayTemp 2 features a three-button keypad, which includes action, mode, and max/min functions. By pressing the MODE button, the user can select °C/°F, display the ambient temperature, and the emissivity value.
The max/min function displays the highest and lowest recorded temperatures during the measurement period.
The RayTemp 2 has a large, easy-to-read LCD screen with a low battery indicator and an auto-shutoff function that turns off the instrument after 30 seconds, maximizing battery life.
It is housed in a robust ABS case containing Polygiene BioMaster product protection that reduces bacterial growth and is powered by three AAA batteries providing at least 350 hours of battery life.
