The Comark C9503/IS intrinsically safe pressure gauge 0 to ±350mbar / intrinsically safe manometer 0 to ±350mbar combines high accuracy with fast response and is designed to operate between 0 and ±350mbar. The C9503/IS intrinsically safe manometer features dual inputs for gauge or differential pressure measurement. With a robust design built to withstand industrial environments, the intrinsically safe pressure gauge 0 to ±350 mbar is dust- and waterproof according to the IP67 standard (BS EN 60529), and an optional protective rubber boot is also available.
Our intrinsically safe pressure gauges contain impregnated protection, designed to limit electrical discharge and the unit’s surface temperature, to prevent potential ignition of flammable gases, dust, or vapors.
The Comark series of intrinsically safe manometers is ATEX-compliant, certified to Ex II 1G Ex ia IIC T4 Ga and Baseefa03ATEX0079, and is therefore recommended for use in areas where explosive or flammable substances are stored or processed. These pressure gauges have been approved by internationally recognized approval bodies in accordance with intrinsic safety requirements.

What is ATEX?
ATEX is the name commonly given to the two European directives for the control of explosive atmospheres:
1) Directive 99/92/EC (also known as ‘ATEX 137’ or the ‘ATEX Workplace Directive’) on minimum requirements for improving the health and safety protection of workers potentially at risk from explosive atmospheres. The text of the Directive and the supporting EU produced guidelines are available on the EU-website. 2) Directive 94/9/EC (also known as ‘ATEX 95’ or ‘the ATEX Equipment Directive’) on the approximation of the laws of Members States concerning equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
