This applanatic achromatic folding magnifier features a multi-element lens system that guarantees a true-to-color, distortion-free image. An apochromatic lens system is combined with an applanatic lens with chromatic aberration correction from an achromatic lens, making it particularly suitable for reproducing the “true” color of an object while providing a very good, distortion-free image.
