Description
The Dino-Lite backlight stage BL-CDW allows for two different types of illumination: brightfield and darkfield. In brightfield mode, light is transmitted from beneath the specimen, displaying the specimen’s shape and structure against a light background. With darkfield illumination, the transmitted light does not reach the microscope and therefore does not become part of the image.
The image shows light objects against a nearly black background. This type of illumination is suitable not only for prepared specimens but also for living specimens such as flagella, pseudopod movement, spirochetes, and more.
Both types of illumination enable high contrast, clear images, and add a completely new dimension to Dino-Lite digital handheld microscopes with magnifications over 100x.
