Description
The 56-RTR502B is TandD’s versatile temperature logger featuring a probe on a cable separate from the electronics — place the logger in a reasonably accessible location and insert the probe where the temperature actually needs to be measured: in the freezer, in the oven, in the thermal container, in the cooling circuit, or simply in tight spaces. The measuring range extends from -60 to +155 °C depending on the probe used, covering everything from deep freezing to industrial hot processes.
The standard kit includes thermistor probe 56-TR-5106. If you require higher or lower temperatures, different cable lengths, or IP-rated applications — choose from TandD’s wide selection of compatible external probes (56-TR-1106 waterproof, 56-TR-1220/1320 for IT/food, 56-TR-3100 series for special applications, among others). Measurement data is transmitted wirelessly to any RTR-500B base unit at a direct line-of-sight distance of up to 150 meters.

Applications
The 56-RTR502B is selected when you need to measure temperatures outside the -40/+80 °C range or when you need to place the electronics in a safe location while the probe is positioned directly at the measurement point. Typical applications: ovens and baking ovens, freezers (refrigeration and freezing equipment), hot water circuits, industrial heating and cooling systems, autoclaves, refrigerated holds on ships, and storage dryers.
